it is challenge to exactly calculate the amount of protein in your meal that will be converted to sugar after 4 hours to 6 hours from the meal , can you let us understand why the protin is converting to sugar and how we can prevent this . is it true that when you eat less than 60 gm carb aday there is no way to prevent this convertion. thanks

Protein gets broken down to amino acids that can be converted into sugar through a process called gluconeogenesis. This only happens if your glycogen stores in your liver gets depleted, which is more likely to happen if you are on a low carb diet. There is no way to prevent it because your body needs energy, so either breaking down carbs and protein into sugar, or fats into ketones.
